Use of Big Data is growing exponentially as collection methods and ways to use it keep developing. One of the biggest growth areas in the career world is in data science, and mathematicians are well positioned to fit into these roles.

- Data analysts are not expected to build statistical models or be well versed in programming and machine learning; therefore, they usually aren’t expected to have an advanced degree.
