Informational

Army Educational Outreach Program, Apprenticeships – This website shares great information about the unique opportunity for high school and undergraduate students to conduct real-world, Army-sponsored research alongside scientists and engineers in world-class facilities. They inspire students to pursue further education and careers in STEM.

Workplace Fairness, Apprenticeship Programs – This section of the Workplace Fairness website addresses some of the most common questions and issues you may encounter in your career preparation process and how you are classified as a worker may affect your workplace rights.

Registered Apprenticeship College Consortium – Community colleges often play a critical role in apprenticeship programs. They may assist in developing curriculum and even provide classroom instruction as well as offering college credits leading toward, or even completion of, an associate degree. Registered Apprenticeships as a workforce development tool continues to grow across the country.   The administrative side of a registered apprenticeship program is being taken on by community colleges including screening apprenticeship applicants, working with economic and workforce development, and/or even acting as the program sponsor.
